Just as the SCC’s mission is to unite Savannah’s children through the power of song, music is an international language which unites people around the world.
Annual travel opportunities help our members experience the world beyond Savannah.
The Preparatory Choir takes a regional (4-5 hour) trip each year to perform publicly, and experience the sights and sounds of another community. This experience of being away from home helps build travel skills for when they join the Premier Choir. The Premier Choir travels nationally and internationally on a rotating schedule. The Discovery and Apprentice Choirs do not travel.
